Paris
Montparnasse tower, built in the early 1970s, has become the new symbol of the Montparnasse district. With its 56 floors and 196 m high, with the fastest elevator in Europe, this skyscraper offers the widest panoramic view of the city of Paris. A classic choice very common for all the landscape photographs that visit the city.
I didn’t want a too wide shot of the city, so I’ve used a standard 35mm lens, the XCD45. A good advice is to keep in mind to arrive a while before the sunset, as you can imagine this spot is very inflated from photographers.
Thanks to the spectacular sensor of the Hasselblad X1D I’ve been able to take 3 multiple shots of the city in tree different time and then in postproduction blend all together and obtain this time-blended image.
Elaboration has been nearly in total done using Adobe Photoshop, except for the basic pre-elaboration of the 3 images choose with Phocus.
